For organizers
How HappUpon lists events
We list public events from the calendars organizations publish so people can find things to do nearby. We show the basics, credit the organization, and link to its event page.
Our event reader
whaleshark-bot/1.0 (+https://happupon.com/bot)- About one visit per calendar per day.
- At least 60 seconds between requests to a site, longer if your robots.txt asks.
- Follows robots.txt and stops if your site blocks it.
- Requests come from 167.172.129.195 and 142.93.207.129.
Opt out or fix a listing
Email [email protected] and we will stop reading your calendar and remove its listings. You can also block the reader in robots.txt, which takes effect at our next recheck:
